Noble v3.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 2672000. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd noble
git pull
git checkout v3.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 3.1.0
nobled version

# Should be commit d145036dff4677e214de89412738bade5fdbe245
nobled version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.noble/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.1.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nobled $HOME/.noble/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.1.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 3.1.0
$HOME/.noble/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.1.0/bin/nobled version
