Stride v15.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5532355. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v15.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v15.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 80c5db387d2a6c72dfa41922a5cb95f39d7cbb43
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v15.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v15/bin/strided version
