Umee v5.2.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8220900. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd umee
git pull
git checkout v5.2.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 5.2.0
umeed version

# Should be commit 5a9750801252a24ca07de6eb0b9a0664f03bc690
umeed version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/umeed $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 5.2.0
$HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.2/bin/umeed version
