Osmosis v19.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 11317300. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v19.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 19.0.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit 2b8b2931caa5201587ba2da5b040e436050510ee
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 19.0.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin/osmosisd version
