Stride v14.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5223225. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v14.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v14.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 52581d22459e29b340605edaaada2aaf87d081cc
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v14.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin/strided version
