Omniflix v0.12.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8054200. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v0.12.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.12.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit 7ea844d06d9832119b8db3e2a5ae9bac8278526a
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.12.x/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.12.x/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.12.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.12.x/bin/omniflixhubd version
