Archway v2.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 525000. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd archway
git pull
git checkout v2.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.0.0
archwayd version

# Should be commit d6c5cf4509e1c848f26d539c3519685f1d323dfd
archwayd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/archwayd $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.0.0
$HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin/archwayd version
