Stride v12.1.0 Upgrade

Stride is going ICS!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4616678. It is estimated to take place 10 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v12.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v12.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit bbf0bb7f52878f3205c76bb1e96662fe7bd7af8d
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v12/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v12/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v12.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v12/bin/strided version
