Umee v5.1.0 Upgrade

No more Peggo!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7428000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd umee
git pull
git checkout v5.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 5.1.0
umeed version

# Should be commit 30e0320c6590ac2b4668374edaf75f3e3c0e4592
umeed version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/umeed $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 5.1.0
$HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.1/bin/umeed version
