Stride v10.0.0 Upgrade

This upgrade will fund BadKids per Prop 205!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4191914. It is estimated to take place 10 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v10.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v10.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit a3eff2dc5a33a64bd86341b40f980ce58a736b11
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v10.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10/bin/strided version
