Umee v5.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 6986150. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd umee
git pull
git checkout v5.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 5.0.1
umeed version

# Should be commit 527b5feddc75c3f4f300bf0605f7b4cb79b249d6
umeed version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/umeed $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 5.0.1
$HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0/bin/umeed version
