Comdex v10.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7158500. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd comdex
git pull
git checkout v10.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v10.0.0
comdex version

# Should be commit 500b5c666af138c151c56e13e625b0dfcff35272
comdex version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/comdex $HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v10.0.0
$HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin/comdex version
