Stride v6.0.0 Upgrade

This upgrade will start Stride Airdrop szn 2.

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 2559552. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 9c1a07a6f560d0d4165f7d7726ca3c5d7d9d4634
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin/strided version
