Osmosis v14.0.0 Upgrade

This upgrade adds the following features: Geometric TWAP, Downtime Detection Module, IBC <> Cosmwasm Composability Work, and IBC upgrade to v4.2.0.

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7937500. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v14.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 14.0.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit 62587bfa0db9309804ca84cfceca6a19ac0aae44
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 14.0.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v14/bin/osmosisd version
