Osmosis v13.1.0 Upgrade

This upgrade adds stableswap, IBC rate limiting and cross-chain wasm contracts.

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7241500. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v13.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 13.1.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit bb867c557c41cb8a9ada1a441f72a3c95d768f13
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 13.1.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin/osmosisd version
