ZIG Chain v6.0.0 Upgrade

LFG!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 13466800. It is estimated to take place 7 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zigchain
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.0
zigchaind version

# Should be commit 81af3b281338487d1c6e17993754f45f9fd974db
zigchaind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zigchain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zigchaind $HOME/.zigchain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.0
$HOME/.zigchain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin/zigchaind version
