Nym v0.61.16 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 26277777. It is estimated to take place 1 week from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nym
git pull
git checkout v0.61.16
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.61.16
nyxd version

# Should be commit 0940606e5ec1abf4a079b0219593bb94c1c410d4
nyxd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.61/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nyxd $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.61/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.61.16
$HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.61/bin/nyxd version
