Nibiru v2.21.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 47668356. It is estimated to take place 1 week ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.21.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.21.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 18d74f6ea2e8f43a7f0440a491c05a79e0dde4b2
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.21.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.21.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.21.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.21.0/bin/nibid version
