Juno v31.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 42452000. It is estimated to take place 7 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd juno
git pull
git checkout v31.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v31.0.0
junod version

# Should be commit de78774eb419f95ba5812d7a3446c4b2516d8f0a
junod version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/junod $HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v31.0.0
$HOME/.juno/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin/junod version
