Nibiru v2.20.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 46828562. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.20.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.20.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 6bb685391e578c811b1012ec4e2e4044800e5e60
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.20.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.20.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.20.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.20.0/bin/nibid version
