Chihuahua v4.1.0 Upgrade

This upgrade allows the burning percentage to be changed via a governance vote.

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4886666. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd chihuahua
git pull
git checkout v4.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.1.0
chihuahuad version

# Should be commit 49a1b6d8f71bb0e981f6ff0fce5deae63e270324
chihuahuad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.chihuahuad/cosmovisor/upgrades/v410/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/chihuahuad $HOME/.chihuahuad/cosmovisor/upgrades/v410/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.1.0
$HOME/.chihuahuad/cosmovisor/upgrades/v410/bin/chihuahuad version
