Dora 0.5.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 17520000. It is estimated to take place 28 minutes ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd dora
git pull
git checkout 0.5.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.5.0
dorad version

# Should be commit 8a4313d2b338eb5e5090dd5cdfe5b0f54203c426
dorad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.dora/cosmovisor/upgrades/0.5.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/dorad $HOME/.dora/cosmovisor/upgrades/0.5.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.5.0
$HOME/.dora/cosmovisor/upgrades/0.5.0/bin/dorad version
