Stride v34.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 40506004. It is estimated to take place 2 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v34.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v34.1.0
strided version

# Should be commit 33f52aad52e64114134576c0e0e4d4263bdc7594
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v34/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v34/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v34.1.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v34/bin/strided version
