Comdex v5.0.0 Upgrade

This upgrades adds new on-chain modules of AuthZ and ICA.

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5133000. It is estimated to take place 1 year ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd comdex
git pull
git checkout v5.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v5.0.0
comdex version

# Should be commit d8a016d3738a635ef8e1601e9be60dff3a3005b6
comdex version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/comdex $HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v5.0.0
$HOME/.comdex/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin/comdex version
