Nibiru v2.19.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 45830488. It is estimated to take place 1 day ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.19.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.19.0
nibid version

# Should be commit a1bf3a6f0529c4fc47e7a582fb1edbe5d3e1b176
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.19.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.19.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.19.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.19.0/bin/nibid version
