Nolus v0.8.4 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 25653000. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nolus
git pull
git checkout v0.8.4
make install

Check Version

# should be v0.8.4
nolusd version

# Should be commit 3c8b00d95b5f73b888e1d0b64914991b437f9a71
nolusd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nolusd $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v0.8.4
$HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin/nolusd version
