Nolus v0.8.4 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 25653000. It is estimated to take place 3 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nolus
git pull
git checkout v0.8.4
make install

Check Version

# should be v0.8.4
nolusd version

# Should be commit v0.8.4
nolusd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nolusd $HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v0.8.4
$HOME/.nolus/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.8.4/bin/nolusd version
