Nibiru v2.16.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 42885000. It is estimated to take place 6 days ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.16.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.16.0
nibid version

# Should be commit ac05154620fac185530daaec0c9dd59886e026cc
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.16.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.16.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.16.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.16.0/bin/nibid version
