Nibiru v2.12.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 40511000. It is estimated to take place 17 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.12.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.12.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 0df195c00524feb98bcf9106f224d35c26871da8
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.12.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.12.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.12.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.12.0/bin/nibid version
