Initia v1.3.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 13539863. It is estimated to take place 6 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd initia
git pull
git checkout v1.3.1
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.3.1
initiad version

# Should be commit 008d0e204cfe86bdbacb582bba69770a4c1e06cf
initiad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.initia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.3.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/initiad $HOME/.initia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.3.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.3.1
$HOME/.initia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.3.1/bin/initiad version
