Arkeo v1.0.17 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4365500. It is estimated to take place 3 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd arkeo
git pull
git checkout v1.0.17
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.0.17
arkeod version

# Should be commit e4a49c851c487bece72cfde7eba3963a28cd72dd
arkeod version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.arkeo/cosmovisor/upgrades/general-v1.0.17.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/arkeod $HOME/.arkeo/cosmovisor/upgrades/general-v1.0.17.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.0.17
$HOME/.arkeo/cosmovisor/upgrades/general-v1.0.17.1/bin/arkeod version
