CosmosHub v25.3.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 29288700. It is estimated to take place 3 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd cosmos
git pull
git checkout v25.3.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v25.3.0
gaiad version

# Should be commit 4c337e408a83e10f3cf2da1a1a72bbc9d8369521
gaiad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25.3.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/gaiad $HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25.3.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v25.3.0
$HOME/.gaia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25.3.0/bin/gaiad version
