Lumera v1.9.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 2964000. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd lumera
git pull
git checkout v1.9.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.9.0
lumerad version

# Should be commit 516d43ddd260cd1755edff273970446a41ccfbe9
lumerad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/lumerad $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.9.0
$HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.0/bin/lumerad version
